Sundecks

Our Sundecks are built to client specifications or designed on site, working closely with the client to ensure overall satisfaction. All construction is in accordance with SA Building Standards

The substructure of the timber decks are constructed from C.C.A treated pine supported on C.C.A treated gumpoles. Depending on design of the deck and the span required, either 114mm, 152mm or 228mm pine (laminated saligna beams available in various sizes) or lip channel steel is used. The gumpoles can be replaced by laminated saligna posts, steel or brick pillars, should a more modern look be desired.

We have completed several projects in and around Johannesburg for private homeowners. We have installed waterfront decking at the Pecanwood Estate (Hartebeespoort Dam) and have undertaken several projects at Eagles landing and Westlake.

Most commonly used local decking timbers are Rhodesian teak, Kiaat and Rosewood, decks can also be laid in Pine; several other indigenous timbers are also available. Commonly used exotic timbers include Massaranduba, Cumaru, Balau (Bankari), Phillipino Redwood and Saligna, we have other imported timber options if required or specified.

There are also several composite decking products available.
